About us

Euro Research Support (formerly Carole Glynn European Consultant) is a Rotorua based company, formed initially to deliver the FRENZ platform to support NZ participation in FP7. Developing this role, our organisation is currently involved with three FP7 projects: FRENZ, PACE-net and BioCircle.

Carole Glynn has over 15 years experience of European Commission programmes; as a researcher, a research administrator, national contact point, and programme committee national representative. In a previous role at the UK Research Office (2001-2005), she worked closely with European Commission contacts in delivering information and training events to researchers in the UK, with specific responsibilities in the life sciences.

Since arriving in New Zealand in 2005, Carole has worked on contracts for the New Zealand Ministry of Science and Innovation (MSI: formerly MoRST), the European Commission, and the University of Canterbury. Activities have included the delivery of an FP7 national contact point service for New Zealand; the development and submission of several successful FP7 proposals; and FP7 capacity building in the Pacific.
